What is Make Them Sailors
Make Them Sailors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making sailing accessible to all.
We shine a light on grassroots sailing schools across the world, connecting them into a global network and giving them the tools, visibility, and resources they need to thrive. By fundraising together, sharing knowledge, and telling their stories, we multiply the impact of each school and show donors exactly how their support transforms lives through sailing.

How does it work?
Make Them Sailors acts as a vital bridge between local sailing programs and a global network of supporters. We connect passionate educators who are working hard to teach sailing with individuals and organizations eager to make a difference.
By coordinating efforts and building trust, we ensure that resources, knowledge, and opportunities flow directly to the communities that need them most. Together, we amplify their stories, empower local leaders, and grow a worldwide movement grounded in inclusivity, access, and opportunity on the water.
